Robert Guertin, 65, passed away on March 24, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Terry Guertin for 48 years. Born in Providence, he was the beloved son the late Mitchell Guertin and Lorraine Lambert; step-son of the late Norman Strobel.
Robert is also survived by his daughter Alicia Guertin and his son Cody Guertin; by his brother Alfred Guertin and sister Vivian Guertin; by his loving grandchildren Dylan, Hailey and Zane; and by many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sisters Lois Ansaldi and Eileen Hartman.
Robert had many nicknames: Bob, Bobby G, Bobo, Bobby Dog, and most importantly Poppy. His 3 grandchildren were the apple of his eye. He loved the Patriots and the Red Sox. Music was his passion, especially Joe Satriani. He was a great drummer. Robert will be remembered for his sense of humor, outgoing personality, and love for his family and friends.
Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00pm in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. Warwick, RI. A funeral service will be held the following day, Friday, March 29 at 11:00am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
