Robert J. Hoffman

Robert J. Hoffman, commonly known as Hoffy, passed away on July 11, 2023, at Milford Regional Hospital, Milford. Born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, on February 24, 1956, to the late Ardie J. and Jean F. (Maffia) Hoffman, he lived a life that was full of love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
A proud graduate of the Class of 1974 at Milford High School, Bob was known for his athletic prowess on the football field and wrestling mat, where he proudly sported the number 74. His love for sports extended far beyond his high school years, as he was an avid fan of the New England Patriots.
Bob devoted his professional life to serving his community, with a career that spanned several local law enforcement agencies. He worked for the Hopedale Police Department, the Franklin Police Department where he served as a canine officer, and the Dean College Campus Police.
Outside of his professional life, Bob found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He cherished the time he spent with his beloved wife of three years, Katelyn M. Hoffman (Roskott). He looked forward to their annual trips to Maine, and he deeply loved his family. Bob was known for his great sense of humor, which brought joy and laughter to everyone around him. We will fondly remember his laughter and his knack for making any situation brighter.
In keeping with his wishes, funeral services and interment will be private. Bob's life was a testament to his love for his family and friends, his commitment to his community, and his passion for life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
