Ronald A. Jonas, age 84.
Ronald was born September 6, 1938, and gained his angel wings on October 22, 2022, after a brief Illness at Kathy Hospice in West Bend, Wisconsin. He was born to Alfred and Marie (Nee Blum) In Mishicot, Wisconsin and he graduated from Mishicot High School.
In 1961 he married Susan (Nee Pudil) and moved to Milwaukee where they became owners of Camera Repair Service. After having children, they moved to Jackson and he started a new career with Xerox. He retired in 2000. He was active in Boy Scouts when the boys were young, was a very dedicated member of church and cared for his wife with ailing health. Sue passed away in 2002.
Later, Ron married Sue's sister Barb (Nee Pudil) in Jackson. He was a true Christian, a kind, creative and loving husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, and friend.
His survivors include Rosie the cat, his wife Barb, sons David (Carolyn) of Campbellsport, Kevin (Brenda) of Antioch, Tennessee, daughter Jean Nettesheim of West Bend, and stepson Michael (Katie Starker) Scherff. Also survived by grandchildren, Dalton (Rebecca) of Manitowoc, Connor Jonas of Campbellsport, Hailey (Cody) Horsley of Tennessee, Luke and Kyle Nettesheim of West Bend, Great-Grandson, Alexander Jonas, Sister Elaine Chaloupka, Sisters-in-law, Bonnie Jonas and Mary Pudil, Special niece Anita (Susann) Pudil. Many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Ron was preceded in death by infant son, Ronald Jr., first wife Susan, brother Frederick (Fritz) Jonas and brothers-in-law William Chaloupka and John Pudil.
Special thanks to Pastor Paul Mittermaier of St. John's Lutheran Church of Jackson. The family would also like to thank all the medical staff that cared for Ron.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, October 29,2022 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 2881 Division Road, Jackson, Wisconsin. 53037. Visitation at 1:00 PM with a service at 2:00 PM.
Fellowship, cake, and coffee to follow.
