Russell worked as a Maintenance Manager for Lydia Taft Rehab & Skilled Nursing Center, Uxbridge, MA for many years. He was a former member of the Pascoag, Oakland-Mapleville and Nasonville Fire Departments. He was a member of the Masonic Fraternity in Roger William's Lodge #32 and Friendship Lodge #7 and a Past Grand Master for the State of RI.
In addition to his loving wife Laurie, he leaves behind a son, Russell Davis Jr. and his wife Wendy of Harrisville; two daughters: Renee Toper and her husband Eric of Central Village, CT and Leanne LaMoore of Harrisville; a brother, James Davis Jr. of North Scituate; a sister, Judith Ebersole of Sun Prairie, WI and six grandchildren: Brooke Gustafson, Allen LaMoore, Logan Gustafson, Noah Davis, Emma Davis and Abigail Toper.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Russell on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 10 AM in Our Lady of Good Help Church, 1063 Victory Highway, Mapleville with burial following in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Main St., Pascoag. Calling hours will be Friday, July 14 from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Shriners Children's Boston, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave., Pascoag.
