Obituary
Ruthanne Corey Schulze was born on the 24th of June, 1921 in Des Moines, Iowa, the child of Arthur R. Corey and Agnes Kunz Corey. Her mother's family was a pioneer family of the state of Iowa. her father is listed in "Who's Who" of America. She was raised in Des Moines, Iowa. Ruthanne was a graduate of East High School, class of '39 and studied at Marycrest College as well as Iowa U.
She married Dr. Donald E. Schulze, who practiced dentistry in Des Moines. She moved to Denver in 1953 and became active in the community. She served on the Board of the Denver Jr. Chamber of Commerce Wives, Board of Dental ­­­Auxiliary to the Colorado Dental Association, Board of Salvation Army League of Mercy, Board of Denver U. Women's Library Association Colorado Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, Monday Club of Bow Mar and she delivered meals on wheels for 42 years.
She had three children, Roxanne Schulze Seep (deceased) of Littleton, CO, Brynne Sue Brown of Lakewood, CO, and Richard Schulze of Littleton, CO
A Memorial Gathering will be held for Ruthanne on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 2:00pm - 3:30pm at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Ruthanne's name to the Salvation Army or the Denver Dumb Friends League.
