Sandra Matlock Obituary
Sandra K. Matlock, 75, was called home by the Lord on,November 2, 2023 after a long battle with Mesothelioma.
Sandra was born on Sept. 26, 1948 and was the daughter of the late Earl Eugene and JoAnn E. (Harding) Schaad. Just like Barbie, Sandra had many careers including a deputy sheriff, waitress, asphalt worker, clerk for the Navy, Trucker, and her final job as a bookkeeper for New Holland Cemetery.
Sandra is survived by her children, Cheryl (Ray) Stewart, Tommy Ray (Stacy) Jackson, and Steven (Chrystal) Michaels; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; her sisters and brothers, Sherry, Robert and Nancy; many beloved nephews and nieces, her beloved cats, Daisy and Annabel, and her granddog Rosco.
The family would like to give thanks to Marie for her wonderful companionship in Sandra's final days. Sandra was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jessica whom she is skating in heaven.
Friends will be received on Sunday, Nov. 5th from 2-4 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. The family extends their deepest appreciation to the staff of LifeCare Hospice for their wonderful care. Donations may be made to Ohio's LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
