Shirley A. Cunningham, 71, of Canton passed away on July 28th, 2022. She was born on February 20th, 1951 to the late Ray and Mary West. She was preceded in death by her parents. Shirley is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, John W. Cunningham, Sr., son; John W. Cunningham, Jr., sister; Beverly (John) Bell, nephew; Joey (Fiance, Audra) Flounders with sons, Christian and Joseph Flounders, niece; Heather (Keith) Wilson, and very good friends, Dan and the late Judy Bacorn, Joyce Stewart, and her three fur babies, Ginger, Misty, and Mia.
Shirley was an avid crafter and will be remembered for her personal handmade cards she would send to family and friends. She and John were members of Pike Grange for many years. The two were square dancers and enjoyed Western-style dancing through which they made many friends from all over. Shirley will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
The family will receive guests for Calling Hours on Friday, August 5th at the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel from 11AM to 1PM. A Funeral Service will directly follow at 1PM.
