Stephen Daniel Hall (63) of Monroe, NC passed peacefully, to his heavenly home on April 18, 2023. He was born in Tampa, Florida on November 20, 1959. He is preceded in death by his father Jerry Lee Hall and his mother Sara Craven Hall. He is also preceded in death by his two sisters Sandra "Sandy" Hall, Susan Hall, and two brothers, Samuel "Sammy" Hall and Anthony Scott "Scotty" Hall.
During his lifetime, Stephen was known by all who loved him as a devoted husband, loving father, and adoring grandfather. He dedicated his life to serving the Lord and sharing the love of God with everyone he had the opportunity to cross paths with. He leaves a legacy of faith, love, and service towards others.
God gifted Stephen at a young age with a talent for singing and songwriting as he shared the gospel, while formerly traveling with his family, "The Singing Halls" across the country. Stephen continued to carry this love of singing and songwriting throughout his lifetime by writing more than 500 songs.
Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Daphne Harris Hall; four children, Sara Danielle Hall, Sterling David Hall (Lauren), Stacie DeAnne Hall, and Stanton Davis Hall (Morgan); twin brother Stanley "Stan" David Hall and five grandchildren, Samuel "Sammy" D. Hall, Elijah "Eli" A. Cortez, Hudson D. Hall, Sophia H. Hall, Haisley K. Hall.
The family will hold a private ceremony honoring the life and legacy of Stephen.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to honor Stephen by asking all who loved him to continue to honor his legacy by spreading the love of Christ and serving others in His Holy name.
Additionally, the family would like to thank the Union County EMS and first responders, as well as the medical staff of the Novant Matthews Presbyterian Hospital for their care and compassion shown to Stephen and the family.
