Steve and I went to school together and would hang out after school. We both went into the United States Marine Corps on the "buddie program" . We were fortunate enough to go through basic training together. While I continued on to make a career of the Marines, Steve chose a different path. Over the years we lost touch. I am sorry that I missed his service. Had I known, I would have paid my respect.
