Susan M. Vanden Bush, age 80 of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2023.
Susan was born on July 21, 1943 to Joseph and Shirley (Zeise) Allen in Green Bay. She attended Preble High School and graduated with the class of 1961. Susan married Robert "Bob" Vanden Bush on April 22, 1967. Susan worked with the WEL Company for 40 years until her retirement.
Susan greatly cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with friends and going on bus trips with Bob. Susan was true to her faith and was a parish member of St. Thomas the Apostle in Sugarbush.
Susan is survived by her husband, Bob; children: Randy (Jennifer) Vanden Bush, Chris (Bruce) Christensen, and Tony (Lori) Vanden Bush; grandchildren: Connar Christensen, Heather Christensen, Emily, Hailey, Grant, Ashlyn, Wyatt, and Austin Vanden Bush; great-grandchild: Jordan Christensen; siblings: Diane (Dennis) Gaestel, Jean (Jerry) Rasmussen, Joan Wertel, and Jim (Wendy) Allen; brothers-in-law: Arnie (Carol) Vanden Bush and Andy (Kathy) Vanden Bush; daughter-in-law: Tracy Vanden Bush.
She is preceded in death by her son, John Vanden Bush; her parents: Joseph and Shirley Allen; sister: Carol Allen; brother-in-law: Ray Wertel; grandchildren: Julia Christensen and Myah Vanden Bush.
Family and friends may gather on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 pm at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 5930 Humboldt Rd, Luxemburg. A prayer service will conclude the evening. Visitation will continue at church on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 9:00-10:15 am. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 am with Rev. Carlo Villaluz officiating. Susan will be laid to rest at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
