Susan Diane Swank

Susan Diane Swank (McGee), 67, of Columbus, OH went home on October 23, 2021. She was born in Cincinnati OH, to Carl E. McGee Sr. and Kathryn D. McGee (Meeker). Sue was a truly special lady, with a generous heart who loved being a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a well-known figure in the South end of Columbus and was an overall friend to many, knowing no strangers. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Clyde V. Swank Jr, and grandson Shane Vest. She is survived by her six children, Diane Fambro (Deon Sr.), Clifford Vest III, Dwayne Vest (Beth), Carrie Swank (Michael), Clyde V. Swank III (Cherish), and Crystal Pace (Roy Sr.); sister Candace Caster (Russ Sr.) and brothers Carl E McGee Jr., Denny McGee, Doug McGee (Trish), and Jeff McGee (Megan); grandchildren Brittany Pratt, Tiffanie Vest, Josh Kirk, Danielle Vest, Courtney Hall, Destinee O'Vivion, Justin Vest, Jordan Hall, Roy Pace Jr., Chris Pace, Ka'Ron Pace, Tayshawn Pace, Cayla Swank, Keion Pace, Daylen Pace, Lisa Swank, Jayvon Pace, Scarlett Swank, Maya Swank, Brittany O'Vivion, Tracey O'Vivion; 20 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Funeral arrangements will be held at the O.R. Woodyard Co. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St, Columbus, OH 43207, Thursday, October 28, 2021, 5pm-8p where funeral service will be Friday, October 29, 2021 at 11am with Interment at Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made directly to O.R. Woodyard.
