Theodore G. Bilbo II

Theodore G. Bilbo, II, a native of Mobile, AL and resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at the age of 78.
Theodore served 4 years in the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. He worked numerous jobs in his lifetime, which included working as a security officer for Thomas Hospital; worked at Chris Myers Nissan in Auto & Truck Sales; at Graham Gulf, Inc. as a licensed Merchant Marine Captain. Theodore retired from the City of Mobile as a Police Sergeant. He also worked for Estabrook Ford in Pascagoula, MS as an auto and truck mechanic, and at Petrol Marine Company in Houston, TX, as a Marine Engineer and Captain. In his spare time, he enjoyed going fishing, working on cars and boats, scuba diving and camping.
Theodore is preceded in death by his parents, Cary G. Bilbo and Inez Bilbo; son, Theodore G. Bilbo, III; brothers, Cary G. Bilbo, Jr. Charles D. Bilbo and Larry Bilbo; and one sister, Dorothy Bailey.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Evonne D. Bilbo; son, Timothy Bilbo and his wife, Kristina and daughter, Melissa Samson, and her husband, Daniel; stepdaughter, Veronica D. Buckley and her husband, Tom; grandchildren, Kiara Bryant, Ayden Bilbo, Colton Bilbo, Briona Bilbo and Holly Grantham; step grandson, Justin Marr; one sister, Brenda Fountain; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Frances Bilbo and Diane Bilbo.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Church of the Apostles, 7159 McIntyre Street in Montrose, AL, at 11AM.
