Wallace Caron Obituary
1927-2013 NORTH ADAMS Mr. Wallace Euclid Joseph Caron, formerly of 1585 Massachusetts Ave. North Adams, Mass. peacefully departed this life on January 16, 2013 at Berkshire Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born in North Adams, Mass. on Aug. 4, 1927, the son of Patrolman Simeon Caron and Aldea "Della" (Perrault) Caron. He attended the former Holy Family School.
Wallace was a communicant of Holy Family Church and later Our Lady of Mercy Church. Wally regularly attended Adult Day Health programs in North Adams and Pittsfield. Until recently, he attended an adult program at Baroco in Pittsfield.
He leaves his legal guardian, Richard Noel, his wife, Arlene, and their children, Bryan and Alexander. Other survivors include several cousins including Ruth Cunningham, of North Adams.
His sister, Constance M. Caron, RN, died February 3, 2003.
Wally will be sadly missed by those who provided him with care during the years following the death of his sister, Connie, especially Kelly, Bonnie, Sandy, David, Jack, Latasha, and the staff of Nonotuck Resource Associates, especially Keri and Maggy. Without their love and care, Wally's life would not have been complete.
Wally was a wonderful person who truly enjoyed life. He could brighten up any room with his smile and friendly ways. Wally suffered a traumatic brain injury during infancy, but this handicap never prevented him from living a full and meaningful life.
Wally loved to travel and see new sights. Wally loved to go out riding in the car. Wally looked forward to his summer vacations with Rick and his family. Whether travelling to Maine, New Hampshire, Cape Cod, or Lake George, Wally always enjoyed the opportunity to take part in a family vacation.
FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Wallace E. J. Caron will be Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 10:15 a.m.AM from FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, Mass. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday from 5 to 7 p.m.

I helped Wally move to his first new home in Washington, Mass. What a fantastic man! Always smiling. Wally, you will be missed by many! You are now driving the "Boo"!
