Roger Caron

Roger Caron, 96, of Wisconsin Rapids died on October 31st at Wisconsin Rapids Health Services. He was
preceded in death by his wife Joan (Usher). Both were active in golf and bridge at Lake Arrowhead in
Rome, WI.
Roger was born on May 20, 1929 in Springfield, MA. He was a graduate of Assumption College,
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the University of Connecticut. An engineer by profession he spent
much of his career as a college professor at Western New England University, the University of
Connecticut and Norwich University and as a management consultant for Arthur D. Little Inc. He was a
member of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology for colleges worldwide and also
held numerous patents.
Roger is survived and will be missed by his brother, Paul Caron and sister Theresa (Caron) Upson, seven
children - Eileen (John) Maroney, Michael Caron, James (Donna) Caron, Peter Caron, Ronald (Chris)
Caron, Steven (Evie) Caron, Gerald (Nina) Caron, five stepchildren - Linda (Malcolm Lambe) Usher, Tom
(Debby) Usher, Terry Usher, Jeanne (Steve Kirchner) Usher, Eileen (Crickett Marx) Usher, twenty
grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and caregiver Janelle Johnson.
