Daniel J. Norberg

Daniel J. Norberg, age 78, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, passed away on November 4, 2025, at his residence surrounded by family.
The family will be holding a private service.
Dan was born on March 30, 1947, in Rockford, IL, to Gerald and Marian (Anderson) Norberg.
He graduated from Winnebago High School in Illinois. He went on to attend University of Platteville and graduated with an Accounting Degree. From then on, he worked as a CPA for Stroh's Brewing Company.
Dan married Julie Haydock on November 26, 2018, in Kingsland, GA.
He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman whose happiest days were spent on the water or under an open sky. A true barbecue pitmaster, he could turn any gathering into a feast and took joy in sharing good food and good company.
He was also a ukulele enthusiast, always ready with a tune to lift the mood, and a master gardener whose green thumb brought him great joy. His love for travel took him near and far, always eager to experience new things.
Dan is survived by his wife, Julie Norberg; children, Trisha (john) McGee, Eric (Lara) Norberg, and Marcy (Eric) Soave; stepchildren, Kimberly Golla, Jennifer Johnson, and Gina Tenpas; brother, Robert Norberg; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Blaise, Hannah, Trevor, Gracyn, Blake, Silas, and Ryan; and great-grandchildren, Lelia, Finley, and Ezra.
He is preceded in death his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, and wife, Marilyn.
