Warren "Brother" Andrews, age 79, passed away January 28, 2025.
Warren Eugene Andrews, affectionately known as Brother, passed away at the age of 79 on January 28, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nemon Alzo Andrews and Beatrice Lloyd Andrews. He was born in Detroit, MI and raised in Council, NC. He graduated from East Arcadia High School in Bladen County in 1964. After graduating, he moved to New York, then later to Detroit and began working in the brewing industry. Warren later transitioned to the automotive industry and worked in shipping and receiving with Roush Racing. He retired in 2009.
In 1966, Warren met the love of his life, Charline, and they were married for 56 years. Together, they had three children.
Throughout his career, he was known for his strong work ethic and impeccable integrity. Warren was also known for being deeply devoted to his family, always prioritizing their needs.
Warren leaves behind his wife, Charline, as well as his children Sarita Andrews, Sheron Griffin (Derrick) and Corey Andrews (Paushaunn). He is also survived by his brother, Thomas Andrews Sr. (Vickie), and sisters Elma Andrews and Acquilla Morgan. He will be deeply missed by his five grandchildren: Brandon Sr. (Allyson), Jasmine, Alexia, Asia (Anthony), and Lauren; four great-grandchildren: Brandon Jr., Levi, Avery, and Matthew; and a host of other family and friends who were touched by his life.
A visitation for Warren will take place Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 3-7 pm at Chas. Verheyden, Inc. -Duross Chapel, 28499 Schoenherr, Warren, Michigan 48088. Funeral service Friday, February 7, 2025, family hour 10 am until time of service, 11 am, at Renewal Church, 11174 13 Mile Rd, Warren
