Mr. William "Bill" B. Hall, 73, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at The Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice.
The service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday at 2:00PM in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at Pinewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00-2:00PM.
Bill grew up in Farmville, NC. He was a retired General Contractor and a past member of Home Builders Association. Bill was a long-standing member of Farmville United Methodist Church, and now recently attending Covenant Church in Washington. He was active in the Men's Fellowship Group and enjoyed his mission work. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 284 in Greenville, a past Shriner, and past member of the Lions Club.
His favorite pastimes and joys in life included being a drone pilot; and he was also a small aircraft pilot. He also enjoyed making beautiful handcrafted writing pens. The best part of his life was when he and his wife retired to the Pamlico River where he enjoyed boating, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. The biggest joy he experienced was loving and spoiling his three grandchildren, who they affectionately called PopPop!
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Marlow Hall; mother, Mary Frances Hall; and brother, Marlow "Skip" Hall, Jr.
He is survived by his wife Janet H. Hall; son, Scott Johnson and wife, Jo; his precious daughters, Christine Hall, and Nicole Hall and husband, Ryan Paschal; and his precious grandchildren, Landon and Logan Johnson, Elaina Paschal, and one on the way!
A very heartfelt thank you goes to Darlene and Rachel at The Service League.
In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to The Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice, P O Box 30452, Greenville, NC 27833.

Bill was a neighbor and recognized that our lawn was overgrown...our lawn mower had died. He recruited a few other neighbors and spontaneously mowed our 3-acre yard. I'll never forget his generosity and sincerity. Just saying, he and Janet, Scott, Christine & Nicole hold a special place in our hearts. Love to you all, Bill, Deborah, Abby & Patrick
