Carolyn Ann was born in Greenville, NC on August 29, 1958 to the late Linwood Smith Worthington, Jr. and Mable Ann Mills Worthington. She attended North Pitt High School and Mitchell's Beauty School. She later became a bookkeeper by profession, and worked for Phelps Chevrolet, East Carolina University, and in her later years, owned her own accounting company before her health began to decline.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her older sister Cheryl Gwen Worthington.
She is survived by a son, Mason Stewart Paramore, Jr. and wife Jen; daughter, Tonya Jo Godley; a sister, Lynnette Worthington Livingston and wife Lynn; and three grandchildren.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services.
