William E. Moore Born October 14, 1941, in Studley Kansas, passed away in his home on July 19, 2024. He was the youngest of eight children born to Andrew A and Anna (Senger) Moore. He attended grade school in Studley and graduated from High School in Hoxie in 1959.
He leaves behind a son Greg (Terri) Moore of Stockton Kansas, and a daughter Becky (Mike) Mullins of Hoxie Kansas; 7 Grandkid, Ashly, Anthony, Drake, Sara, Shelby, Kevin, Rhiannon, and many great grandkids, and one sister Donna Morgenstern of Salina Kansas.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Moore; Parents, Andrew A and Anna Moore; sisters, Hazel, Stella, Dela, Dorothy; and brothers, Glen, and Wilber.
He began working out of high school for King construction and helped build I-70. He worked as a master welder at Tamko roofing mill in Phillipsburg and Palmer Tank in Garden City. He worked many years in grain elevators as well as elevator repair service. He worked at Sheridan County Road Dept when he retired. He loved to fish and hunt. He was very talented with building things by hand. He was an avid gardener and loved to grow fruits and vegetables to share with friends and family.
A graveside service will be planned for a later date. Memorials are suggested to Hospice Services of Northwest Kansas, PO Box 116, Phillipsburg, Kansas 67661.
