William Bernard Witherspoon

On the evening of October 25, 2022, God called His son, William Bernard (Foust) Witherspoon into eternal rest.
William served in ministry at Love & Faith Christian Fellowship, Greensboro, NC. There he served on the Divorce Care Ministries team as well as the Partners of Prayer. William loved the Word of God, he was a passionate teacher and a faithful intercessor. William served as a deacon and minister in the body of Christ.
Born February 4, 1970, to William B. Foust and Sandra Witherspoon in Greensboro, NC. He was educated in Guilford County Schools. He was a graduate of Page High School Class of 1988. He was Lieutenant JG and Marshall commander over The Rifle & Pistol Team in JROTC. William worked as a truck driver until his health declined.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Angela Simpson Witherspoon, his sweet baby "Snickerdoodle", his mother Sandra Witherspoon (preceded in death by his stepfather Dr. Nathaniel Witherspoon, Sr.), his father Pastor W.B. Foust (Christine), his sister Alicia F. Lindsay (Travis), his brothers Robert A. Foust (Kellie), Barris T. Foust (Kim), and Nathaniel Witherspoon, Jr. and a special sister Christine Simpson, a host of nephews, nieces, 1 great nephew, 1 great niece, and other relatives and friends. He had 3 special lifelong friends Earnest Spinks, John Avery, and Ken Wilson.
The funeral service will be held at Love & Faith Christian Fellowship, 4344 Blackberry Rd, Greensboro, NC on Friday, November 4, 2022. The visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:00 pm with the service starting at 2:00 pm.
