Ginger Walden Jinnette, born on June 28, 1956, in Lancaster, South Carolina, passed away peacefully from natural causes on November 7, 2025, in
Greensboro, North Carolina. She was 69 years old.
Ginger dedicated much of her professional life serving as a courtroom clerk in the Guilford County Superior Court. Passionate about helping others, she later contributed her skills and compassion to North Carolina Child Support Services, where she worked tirelessly for the well-being of families.
A woman of many talents and interests, Ginger had a particular flair for cooking, especially baking cakes. Her creations were so delightful that friends frequently sought her out to bake for them. Ginger also cherished time spent by the ocean's edge, enjoying the beach for many years. Later, she and her beloved husband, Jim, found joy and tranquility in the mountains of Boone, North Carolina, where they shared numerous memorable weeks together. In addition to her love for cooking and the outdoors, Ginger enjoyed crafting, which allowed her creativity to flourish.
Ginger's legacy lives on through her devoted family. She leaves behind her loving husband, James C. Jinnette of Greensboro; her two sons, Corey Jinnette and his wife, Jennifer of Providence Forge, Virginia, and Carson Jinnette and his wife, Elise of Greensboro; and her cherished grandchildren, Micheala, Emma, and Colton.
