Carole Clark-Werd Obituary

Carole L. Clark-Werd, 85, of Naperville, IL, Formerly of Lisle, IL, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. She was born on October: 10, 1937, in Cleveland, OH, to Minette nee Deluca and Harold Yost. Loving mother of Sandi (Jim) Hively, Cheryl Clark, and Marybeth Otte. Dear grandmother of Jimmy (Lina) Hively, Matthew Hively, Michael Hively and Michele Ledbetter, Jamie Otte, Patrick Otte, Colin Clark­ DiNovo, and Kevin Otte. Great grandmother of Hazel Hively and Callie Hively. Carole is also survived by her sister Kathy Straka, brother in law Dr. Joseph Straka, and her first husband, Gerald Clark. Carole was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Greg Werd, who she married on May 25, 1996. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sharing Connections in Downers Grove would be appreciated. https://www.sharingconnections.org/. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023, from 4PM to 6PM with a Service at 6PM at Friedrich Jones Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL 60540.
