Gene R. Douglass

Gene R. Douglass, age 67, son of the late William Douglass, Sr., and Betty (Alderson) Douglass, was born on October 3, 1946 in Texas County, Missouri and departed this life on February 23, 2014 at his residence in Mtn. Grove.

Gene was a 1964 graduate of Mtn. Grove High School. He owned and operated a steel business at Dunn, Missouri, east of Mtn. Grove for many years.

Gene's visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st from Noon until 2:00 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel for family and friends. A private family memorial service will be held following the visitation.

The family requests that donations be made to the Mtn. Grove Athletic Program or donor's choice c/o the funeral home.
