James Edward Walker, 79, of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away on December 8, 2014. He was born September 19, 1935 in Fort Myers, Florida and graduated from Fort Myers Senior High in 1953. He is survived by his wife Joyce (Tomlinson) and sons James M. and John S. Walker. He retired in 1986 as Assistant Chief of the Fire Department for Palm Beach, Florida.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 9:30- 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 18, 2014 in the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. A Memorial Service will thereafter be celebrated at 10:30 AM after which friends and family will recess to the adjacent cemetery for burial services.
