Joseph Frank Obituary

Joseph James Frank, age 55, born in Utica, New York and a resident of Raleigh, North Carolina for more than 35 years, died unexpectedly on January 15, 2013. Joe was employed in the overhead door business for 35 years, most recently with Liftmaster. Known for his love of barbecue and Sportscenter, Joe was a golf fan, and often played the top courses around the country. Joe was known for his easy-going and generous style, and a dry sense of humor and penchant for funny, one-line zingers.
Joe is survived by his devoted wife of 19 years, Jane, and daughter Meghan, who is a Freshman at Sanderson High School, which her father attended before graduating from West Florence High School in Florence, SC in 1975. Joe later attended NC State. Joe Frank is preceded in death by his parents Irene Kubus Frank and Joseph Edward Frank.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Renaissance Funeral Home in Raleigh, NC at 1 p.m. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org
