Judith H. Sherman, who was born December 24, 1946, was called "Home" on September 29, 2012. A homegoing service to celebrate her life will be held Friday October 12, 2012 at Mount Peace Baptist Church at 12:00 noon. Visitation 11:30 a.m. Friends will be received only on Thursday, October 11, 2012, 10 Seawell Ave. Raleigh, NC Judith leaves to cherish her memory one brother; a sister-in-law; two sons; daughter-in-law; four grandchildren; one nephew; and a host of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, make donations to New Bern House, 501 New Bern Ave., Raleigh, NC 27601.

Our life paths took us in different directions over the years. However, whenever Judy and I saw each other, the clock was turned back to St. Monica's and the days of "blue and white." Our lifelong friendship resulted from Judy's "joie de vivre," contagious smile, and humorous candor. Rest in peace, my friend.
