Brown, Carmen, JT and Jamey - I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. She was a very unique ,special person. She holds a very special spot in my heart as a friend. She was a great teaching partner to me at NC State and I am so sorry for your loss.

I am very sad to learn of SJ's passing. She was always very helpful and friendly to me. In addition to crossing paths in Jordan Hall, we would sometimes see each other at violin concerts. She loved music and was proud of her niece's musical accomplishments. She was also proud of her son's accomplishments in the library world. I will miss seeing SJ and having these conversations so much. I offer my deepest condolences to her family and loved ones.

I am sad to hear of Susan Jane's passing. It has been years since I have seen her, but have memories of an energetic, sharp witted woman that was always fun to be around. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Our hearts are broken here at NCSU too. SJ was fun to "play" with (lunchtime fitness group), always friendly and caring. Her menus for family gatherings made our mouths water. She bragged on her kids and loved her cats and dogs. I met her in the parking lot - listening to and watching our resident red-tail hawk above the athletic fields. She always was supportive of us gal pals and our families. She is loved and will be missed.

Susan Jane was the type of person that you may not see all the time, but when you did it seemed like it was just yesterday you had seen her. In difficult times she was always there to support you, making you relax, and turning a mountain into a mole hill. We know she cared deeply for her family and our thought and prayers go out to them in hopes to bring them comfort. She will be missed, but always in our hearts.

Susan Jane and I enjoyed technology associated with the Apple Macintosh computer. I so cherished our times of working together at NC State University. Warm Regards, Theresa-Marie Rhyne
