Jay, I am truly saddened by Vickie's passing. She was a wonderful, compassionate person and will be missed by so many. Vickie was "life-giving" to all that were fortunate enough to meet her because of her kindness. I will keep your family and the Darby family in my prayers until all of you are reunited with Vickie again one day.

We shared some splendid time with you both at a mutual friend's house over a year ago; we didn't know you well before but after a long weekend together enjoying Vickie's Breville coffee machine, we learned quickly what a wonderful woman Vickie was. Someone used the word "sparkling" which fits perfectly to the person I came to know. Vickie will be missed. My prayers are with the families as you all continue through this difficult time. Peace be with you all.

Jay, I am so sorry about Vickie. I knew she was not doing well because of your absence during the holidays. I saw Drake Thursday and he confirmed my fears. You and your Dad have been caring for my family for 60 years and 4 generations. I have been so lucky to have you my physician and friend. You have been there for us during the worst of times. I feel extra sorrow because Vickie's fight with cancer coincided with mine and now she is in heaven while God has granted me an extension. Please know that my prayers are with you and the kids.
