I grew up with the Sheldons....we had such great times together. After they moved to Australia, the "hill" wasn't the same. Mike stayed on here in Ct, and met you, Lynda. i remember how he brought you over to the house telling how you two had met and how excited he was to be falling in love with you. He came over during the first yrs after you were married, to drop in and visit at our home. Then off he was to see the guys around the neighborhood.
I' m sorry for your loss my prayers go out to you all.

Linda and Family, WE are so so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. What a wonderful person. We told our oldest son and he remembered when Mike dug up the land for our addition on a house in Canaan. Patrick ( age 4) watched Mike do his thing. And then Mike gave Patrick a toy truck similar to the one he used. It made Patrick's day. I also remember times when we met up with Linda and Mike. He was always smiling and just a happy go lucky guy. We send our love and thoughts to all the Sheldons.

I remember Mike as a fellow 1964 graduate of Danbury HS. I transferred into DHS as a junior, and Mike was one of the most welcoming and helpful guys I met. My most sincere condolences to his family on his passing. May he rest in peace.

The Mike we knew was a hard working guy who had great pride in a job well done! Aside from his sometimes gruff exterior, he was a deeply sensitive man, honest in his dealings, a man who loved to travel. He and Bill Layman went to Australia and Bill marveled at his knowledge of the land and its' people. Bill remembered their time together with a sincere fondness for Mike. Among my tiny vases is one that has "Kent Hollow, Kent,Ct". One of a kind, Mike assured me.

Linda and kids, I'm so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I loved running into him around town. He always had a smile and a fun comment. Not surprising that he was the Dad of 5 of my favorite students/athletes. Thoughts and prayers with all of you.

Condolences to all the family, and prayers up! Bill was the B in B&S Carpentry, and remembers Mike and his smile. Sorry to hear of his long battle with cancer. We lost our son Tim in Feb, from Lymphoma, and we know how hard that is. Sending a big hug!
