Estill Couch Obituary



COUCH

Estill Couch, age 72, of Alexandria, KY passed away May 5, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Edgewood. He was born in Perry County, KY January 1, 1942 to Cora &Levi Couch. He worked for Dalmatian Fire as the Field Superintendent. After Retirement he had also worked at Kenny's Collision Center. Estill served in the Army during the Vietnam War as an E7 Sergeant 1st Class. He retired from Joint Chief of Staff Communications at the White House during the Nixon and Johnson Administrations. Later on he served as the Mayor of Berry, Kentucky. But he loved nothing more than watching his children grow and then enjoying the precious time with all his grandkids. He leaves behind his beloved wife Phyllis. His daughter Nicole (Kenny)Glahn, and sons Will (Debbie) Couch, John (Chris) Couch, and Sean (Rae Lynn) Couch. Brothers Claude, Albert and Darrell Couch and his sisters Doris Ann Daughtery and Wanda Ingram. His loving Grandchildren Lauren, Daniel, Marcus, Payton & Amber Couch and Tad, Jake, Kolton and Kasey Glahn. Visitation will be held at Cooper Funeral Home on Friday, May 9, 2014 from 5-8pm. Services will be on Saturday at the Funeral Home at 10am. Burial will follow at Alexandria Cemetery. Online condolences can be left at www.cooperfuneralhome.net
