I am so sorry to receive this from Bishop Diane Jardine Bruce. Don Crowe and I loved your family when you were members of St. Clements By The Sea Episcopal Church in San Clemente, Ca. I send much love to your family. Patrick grew up to be an outstanding member of your wonderful family.

I didn't want to post something until I really believed that all of this was real. Today, seeing Patrick finalised it for me. I've known him for five years, and appreciated him with my whole heart. He filled everyone with life and energy, even when they weren't in a good mood. He was the person you went to talk to if you needed something, whether it be if you were having a hard time or for advice. Patrick was always there for everyone else, and that's what hit me the hardest. He was always there for his friends and family (except for when he forgot his music and went to get it in the middle of a concert). But that was what made Patrick special, he was always there for everyone whenever they needed him. Sometimes, I thought that he almost didn't have a personal life because he was always so focused on his friends and family being happy. He played music for people to keep them in a good mood, and was always ecstatic when he met another musician. Patrick was always looking to jam out and have fun whenever he could. He would play his guitar or mandolin in the halls until he got in trouble, and then started to sing until he got in trouble for that too. You could always hear Patrick before you saw him. He was his own person, and was never afraid to be that. Patrick was and still is an inspiring person to me, I've always wanted to be as happy and light-hearted a person as he was. Despite us being devastated by the unexpected loss, I'm going to stay happy for the life he had, and the better place he's at now.
Thanks for a great five years worth of memories, Patrick. They're in my memory forever.

As a music student, Patrick brought much needed life and energy in to every class of mine that he attended. I wish I had 20 students like Patrick in every class. He and his tremendous musical gifts will be missed greatly.

Patrick made my daughter Abigail, feel at ease on her first day of strings at NOMMA. He noticed her holding her violin incorrectly. He got up and gently readjusted it, sat back down, never saying a word. Actions truly speak louder than words. Thank you for being a great teacher. Rest Peacefully.

You've always been here for me since the first day I met you in 6th grade. You were one of the best friends I could have ever asked for. Constantly smiling and laughing and making others laugh. Thank you for all you've done for me. Love you, man.

The joy Patrick brought to the world and the beautiful music he made will be greatly missed. I feel blessed to have taught you, to have known you. Some of the "funnies" that were just you are things I share when people ask me about my best memories as a teacher. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

The first day I met you was my first day at NOMMA. I remember when I had spilt gumbo on my shirt, and you stood up, grabbed a spoonful of someone else's gumbo, and poured it all down the front of you to make me feel better. That will be one day of my life that I will never forget. R.I.P. Patrick. We all love you.

Hey, Patrick. I have to say, when I first saw you at NOMMA, I would never have thought that I would eventually call you my friend. It takes a really special and compassionate kind of person to brighten the lives of everyone around you, and that's something that I will greatly miss.
We love ya, bud, and I hope that wherever you are, you find peace and happiness from all the memories and experiences with your family and friends.

Patrick, you've been one of my closest friends for almost six years. I'll never forget your loud singing, the way you made people laugh, or the beautiful way you played every instrument you touched. You are unreplacable because no one could ever have the effect you did. You always made sure everyone around you was happy and you always had time to figure out what was wrong. Thank you for being there for me everytime I needed you and for never judging me about my problems. I won't forget our long talks in strings, and I will miss just sitting next to you, listening as you played your guitar. Now you can play whenever you want and sing as loud as you wish, even though you already did that. I love you Patreezy.
