My sincere condolences to Joe's family. I had the pleasure of working with Joe and the entire team at Power Electric in the early 70's. My memories of Joe are wonderful ones; I enjoyed the experience and learned much in my early years working for Westinghouse. I valued Joe's friendship and the business relation we shared. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of loss and sorrow.

I have known Joe since 1978, when I began working for Power Electric. Every morning my greeting was "good morning team", I will miss our "team leader" forever. Joe Diaco and family made a big impact on me and my families lives. He was the best boss I ever had, but most of all, he was a good friend. We will truly miss him, and I am glad to have known him. Our sympathy to the extended Diaco family, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

While I only met Joe on a few occasions, he left a lasting impression on me.
The thing I admired most - Joe commanded respect.
That was evident the first time I met him in 2004.
Joe was always smartly dressed, not even the top button of his shirt was unbuttoned.
When Joe spoke, it was clear this man had a wealth of electrical/construction knowledge.
The first and only time I visited his office, I couldn't help but notice that Joe didn't sit in a large private office, rather he sat among his team; his son Teddy was by his side.
Joe was mentoring.
All of these attributes made Joe the consummate professional.

I believe you can't be a good businessman without first being a good man.
Joe Diaco was a good businessman.

To the extended Diaco Family, it was an honor and a pleasure to have known Joe.
I will keep you all in my prayers.
