PAUL FORSTE

FORSTE--Paul Giffin. Our family is sad to announce that after an unexpected and rapid illness, Paul Giffin Forste died on Wednesday, September 28th, at age 76. In his last moments he was surrounded with the love and gratitude of his family, including his adored wife Barbara of 54 years. Born in Cincinnati in 1946, Paul graduated from Ohio University with a degree in theater and was a resident of metropolitan New York City since 1977. Father of eight children, Paul was passionate in his appreciation of the arts, history, and philosophy, and a proud member of Theatrical Teamsters Local 817. He will be remembered with the spirit of loving kindness which was his faith, his perpetual delight in his 13 grandchildren, and his sustained belief in making the world a more charitable, tolerant, and beautiful place for all.
