My dad and I had a one of a kind relationship. He was an amazing person, and everyone was blessed to be in his presence. He always stood up for me and had my back when I needed it. I love him more than words can say and will miss him the same way. Rest, Daddy. I'll look after Jonathan, and teach him all the wonderful things you taught Dawn, Rod, Ruthie and me.
With eternal love- Noelle Janine "Sugar."

Wiley Namar and I were in college together in Greeley, CO in the late '50s-early 60s. While students, we both worked in jobs at the college - Wiley at the library and I in the speech therapy clinic. We lived in small apartments in the same bldg. We shared a cup of tea and interesting talk every night after his stint at the library. He called it mis-shelving books! After graduation, we kept in touch by mail and phone, especially at birthday time. Last August, I sent him a New York World's Fair license plate depicting my birth year (1938) and his (1939). He called to tell me how thrilled he was with it. That was our last contact. Wiley was a great friend - one of a kind - and I miss him greatly. An old friend, John Millsapps, Windsor, CO.

You were the best dad ever and you will be so very missed. I miss you calling the house and saying "Hey babe". You were my main man dad and I will try to be as good a parent to Ruthie as you were to me, Noelle and Rodney.
Love you forever, Dawn "Precious"
