Dr. Weidner was one of the greatest people that I have ever come in contact with. He was such a positive influence on the lives of our family. My daughter, Beth Brinley, and I loved him so much that we traveled about 6 hour every week for her to continue her speech lessons. She was a client of his in speech for nearly ten years after she suffered a severe stroke. He gave us so much "hope" when there seemed to be little hope. Dr. Weidner had so much faith in her and she always worked very hard for him. Thanks to her hard work and his never dying enthusiasm for her progress, she is able to work and function well in Geneva , Alabama. Our love and prayers ar extended to his wife and family at his time. Lois Freeman

I didn't know my "Uncle Bill" that well until my senior year in High School when he suggested to my father that I college visit to Auburn University. After one tailgate and AU football game I was sold. Financially I couldn't stay at Auburn, but Bill and Jean were very helpful to me and "Uncle Bill" gave me a lot of great advice and guidance that I have carried with me. As another William Weidner, I can only hope to be as influential and successful as he was to touch so many lives. I wish I would have stayed in touch more and had a chance to tell him WAR EAGLE one last time. Thanks Uncle Bill, and thanks Aunt Jean, you two have never left my heart for how you influenced me.
