Bruce and Steve,
It's been a lot years since we have spoken. We moved out of town(December 1967)but have thought often about our group of friends growing up on Westview. My brother Bob and I talked to Bruce in 2003 at a 1973 class reunion at the Galaxy. We also have made many trips back to Wadsworth thru the years to visit family. In 2008, I drove my parents to town for my mothers class reunion.(class of 1948)We drove down Westview to relive some old memories. As we passed your old house, I looked over to see your dad on a riding mower. He looked up, smiled and waved. My mother said,"Who was that?" I said,"That's Mr.Few" She said, "He acts like he knows you" I said, "There's no way he can remember me, but that's the way he was. Always very friendly!" So,I just wanted to let you know that we are thinking of you at this sad time.
Your old friend up the street,

Tom and family,
Dads are hard to lose, especially one who was as close to you as yours was.
I wanted to come to the calling hours last night, but a last-minute emergency came up and I wasn't able to. I was going to come to the funeral today but had a doctor's appointment.
I have been thinking about you since I heard the news. He was a year ahead of me in school and was highly respected as being one of the most level kids in the school -- not flamboyant and friends to all. He was the type of person anyone would want for a neighbor, friend or relative. It's too bad we can't clone someone like him and replace him with some of the real troublemakers in this world.
Lynda and I send our prayerful condolences to you and your family.
Caesar and Lynda
