My husband and I will always remember Mrs. Wierman fondly as gracious and soft spoken. Her door and her heart were always open for the ATO's. She contributed a special presence which was unmistakably classy. As a true lady and friend she touched the lives of many young adults who truly appreciated her.

Mom Wierman is one of the several wonderful memories I have of DK. She supplied the grace, dignity, good manners, and class that myself and the other brothers sometimes lacked. Her door was always open and her concern for us always present.

Jim Musser and I composed the committee that selected Mrs. Wierman as our new house mother thirty-five years ago and this is probably the best decision either of us have ever made in our lives. This is a Grand Lady, an individual who helped make young men of boys. She encouraged us to always raise the bar and strive to do better. A Grand Lady who will never be forgotten.

I know that God has a special place for Mom Wierman in heaven. I will always remember that friendly smile and open door to just say hi or chat. I even watched an OU/Nebraska game with her, after I had left OU, when I drove from Dallas and it was just too cold for me. She left a legacy of son's behind.

Mrs. Wierman was one of the great influencers in my life when she served as the ATO House Mother for us over the span of 23 years. An award winning House Mother for many years, she could never be replaced. She was the glue that held us together and kept us from veering off on the wrong course both individually and collectively. She will be sorely missed by those of us whose lives she touched.

To the Family of Mrs Wierman:

On behalf of the men of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity at the University of Oklahoma we extend our sympathy and love to you. "Mom" Wierman had such a positive impact on the lives of hundreds of young men in our fraternity. Because of her grace, dignity, and love for her boys, she was recognized by the entire Greek system as the best Housemother year after year.

To the Family of Frances Weirman:

I worked with Frances at Design Forum in the early 70s. It is interesting that as I was looking through some files last week, I came across the file when Frances and Carl Mezger closed Interiors Inc

and came to Design Forum. Carl now lives in Montgomery AL and will be 90 this month.

She was a classy lady...very fun and inspiring to a young designer who had just graduated at K State. I learned so much from her and she was a GREAT teacher, so willing to share her knowledge and helped me learn about beautiful traditional homes. She also taught me how to design and make beautiful window treatments.

Just know that all of us at Design Forum loved your mom and I treasure the time I spent with her.
