Ivy Howell

Ivy E. age 85 of Midwest City passed away January 19, 2004 in Shawnee. She was born December 26, 1918 in Tulsa, Ok to Emile Anthony and Ivy Emily Garretson Polumbus. Ivy has lived in MWC since 1977. She was a beautician at Sears during WWII and later managed her own shop. She also managed the National Uniform Co. in Falls Church, VA for several years. She loved children and was a member of the Christian Church and active in church activities. Preceding her in death are her husband, Walter R. Howell, Jr., son, Joseph, sister, Jessie and 2 brothers, William and LeRoy. Ivy is survived by son, Walter R. Howell, III and wife, Sandy of Shawnee, son, John A. Howell and wife, Maria of Edwardsville, KS, daughter, Ivy J. Bradford and husband, Heath of MWC, brothers, Eugene Polumbus and wife JoAn of Tulsa and Tip Polumbus of Denver, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 2:00 P. M. Thursday, January 22, 2004 at the Paylor Chapel with burial at Arlington Memory Gardens.
