Winifred Skinner Obituary

Winifred (Peg) Skinner of Edmond Born in Winterset, IA on June 3, 1910, the last surviving of 8 children is preceded in death by her husband James R. Skinner and is survived by two sons, James D. Skinner and Gerald and wife Dorothy Skinner all of Edmond and by 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Winifred is retired from the Upjohn Co. and has lived in Edmond for the past 30 years and was active in the First Presbyterian Church of Edmond, the Rebekah Lodge of Edmond and her Bible Study Fellowship. The family wishes to thank the staff of Bradford Village for the compassionate care. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Edmond Building Fund. Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday April 1st 2006 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel with interment to be held April 8th at the Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa. Services are under the direction of the Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, OK.
