Gregory Shinkle Obituary
La Grange
Gregory Dean Shinkle of La Grange passed away Sept. 12, 2021.
He was a banker and a former member of Oldham County Country Club.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Cecil and Beatrice Shinkle; brothers, Russell and Clarence Shinkle.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Sue Chipman Shinkle; brothers Gary Shinkle (Anne) and Terry Shinkle (JoAnn); in-laws, Don Chipman (Dustie), David Chipman, Barby Williams (Vernon), Cathy Shinkle and Eloise Shinkle, niece and nephews, Jean Moeller (Chris), Dale Shinkle (Erin), Ben Shinkle (MJ), Tom Williams (Lisa), Tim Williams, Todd Williams, Trey Williams, Jamielee Steurer (Jason), Brad Kesler (Lora); three great-nieces, two great-nephew, two great-great nephew, one great-great niece and many friends.
A Celebration of Greg's life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Heady-Radcliffe with burial at Harrods Creek Cemetery. A memorial gathering will start at Noon until the start of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to American Heart Association in Greg's memory.
