Harvey Tallmon Obituary

Tallmon, Harvey E., passed at the age of 82 on November 4, 2008 to take part in the Ultimate Motorcycle Tour. He served in the Marine Corps for 21 years, was active in WWII and the Korean War, and retired with the Victory Medal, Medal of Honor, and the Japanese Occupation Medal. Afterward, he worked as a pressman with the LA Times and retired after 20 years. Harvey was a member of the Moose Lodge, VFW, VMF22, Fleet Reserve Assoc., 20 Year Club for Pressmen, and the Gold Wing Road Riders. He is survived by his loving bride of 53 years, Jeanette; his sons, Jay, David, and Thomas; his precious daughter, Pam, and 12 grandchildren. There will be a memorial Service at 2:30 on Nov. 10 at Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd. with a gathering following at the Moose Lodge, 9901 Bixby Ave. in Garden Grove. 714 539-0477.
