Ada Green Obituary

Ada C. Green, 98, died April 10,2022 was born December 14,1923 in Pennsylvania. She and her family moved to Maitland, FL in 1941 and ran the Shady Grove Motor Lodge on 17-92, where she met and married her husband James of 60 years before his passing in 2002. She graduated from Seminole Community College with her nursing degree and went on to earn her LPN. A longtime resident of Winter Park and an active member of Calvery Assembly of Orlando where she sang in the choir. She also participated in the play production of "The Life Giver". In her free time she enjoyed drawing, painting writing poetry and making lap quilts for the nursing homes in the area. She is survived by her 2 children, son James R. Green of Apopka and her daughter Susan L. Johnson of Ocala and preceded in death by her son Willaim A. Green. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

We loved Ada! So precious. She was our next door neighbor on Lake Bell for many years. Looking forward to seeing her again
