A man I truly miss , especially when watching Indy Car races , as a friend and for the help he gave my son . He was bigger than life and I always enjoyed seeing him in the Indy Car Medical Center . I have many fond memories of the times he and I spent together. Was always very ,very supportive of what we did in the MedCenter for the drivers , crew , etc. would enjoy hearing him play the piano again ....... only in Heaven now .

I remember "Big" Jon from our days at EMTHS. He was a fun guy and liked to entertain playing his guitar and singing "Courtin' in the Rain." He also did a great impression of Jackie Gleason characters. I have to smile when I recall the time that Jon invited three other guys over to his house for dinner and we had pie for dessert. That regular size pie was divided into four equal pieces. The Potters knew how to eat!
My thoughts are with the Potter family during this difficult time.

My heart breaks for all of Jon's family. He was "bigger than life" in so many ways. I have countless wonderful memories of him. My family was so fortunate to spend a lot of time with Jon. We could always count on him for a good joke or funny story. What I loved most about Jon was the love he had for his wife, children, and grandchildren. He had such a big heart when it came to those he loved. Karen, Lori, Wendy, and Scott, and all the grandchildren...I feel your pain. I, too, have lost the love of my life. I can only imagine the great times that Jon and Joe are having up there in Heaven. I'm sure they have shocked several angels with their shenanigans. Karen, I have no way of contacting you so please get in touch with me as soon as you feel up to it. I can come over to Cocoa to help with anything you might need there. I would love to hear from you. I love you all...and I'm so, so sorry for your loss.
