Chadwick Ramsdell Obituary
Mr. Ramsdell was born on March 29, 1924 in Melrose, MA. Originally from the New England area, Mr. Ramsdell moved to the Central Florida area in 2005 from Fearrington Village, NC. He was in the United States Navy and proudly served his country during WWII and the Korean War.
Mr. Ramsdell retired from AT&T in 1983 after many years of dedication. He was a member of the Deer Island Lake & Golf Club of Tavares and the U.S. Golf Association.
Mr. Ramsdell is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy J. Ramsdell and brother, Jason A. Ramsdell.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara B. Ramsdell; four sons, Chadwick H. Ramsdell of Berwyn, PA, Stuart O. Ramsdell of Duxbury, VT, Craig A. Ramsdell of Raleigh, NC and Ross M. Ramsdell of Coatesville, PA; one daughter, Candice R. Clark of Nashua, NH; one sister, Judith Boal of Marblehead, MA; 11 grandchildren. Also survived by one stepson, Douglas C. Belden of Crawford, NJ; one step daughter, Susan H. Belden of Edgewater, MD and three step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2007 at the Allen J. Harden Funeral Home Mount Dora Chapel with Father John Jacobs officiating. Interment will be at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL on Monday, March 26, 2007 at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in Mr. Ramsdell's name to the Navy and Marine Relief Society at www.NMCRS.org; or The First Tee at www.thefirsttee.org.

When I was growing up Chad was one of my favorite neighbors.He was good friends with my parents.From a kids point of view, he had a great sense of humor,always had good stories and he could be a little scary if you were doing something wrong. He will be missed.
