Cheryl Wilson Obituary

Cheryl Arlene Wilson, 76, passed away on August 28, 2020 from the ravages of dementia at Premier at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg. She was born on December 25, 1943 in Harrisburg to the late D.R. and Lois A. Moore. Surviving is her husband of 55 years, Edward M. Wilson, Jr., sons Edward M. (Nicole), Richard (Jean), four wonderful grandchildren, Garrett, Jack, Marley, Emily, and four cousins, Nancy, Albert, Grant and Minta. Cheryl was a 1961 graduate of John Harris High School. She was retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Revenue. The family wishes to thank the staff of Premier at Susquehanna Village for the wonderful care Cheryl received from them. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 5, 2020 in the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, 2100 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home. The family is requesting that those wishing to attend the memorial service and visitation to please come dressed casually. In keeping with current health guidelines, attendees are encouraged to exercise proper precautions including the wearing of face coverings and appropriate social distancing. I will always remember her big heart and being the most generous person I had ever known. May she rest in peace and be reunited with her beloved mother. They had such an incredible relationship that was special beyond words.
