he was a quality technician for angel’s envy distillery, archery coach at bullitt east high school, and an avid pittsburg steelers fan. he also held a u.s. patent for paint.
he was preceded in death by his father, willard reid cornell sr.; and his mother, delores metcalf (danny).
reid is survived by two daughters, tara morris (dave) and charisma cornell (zach); one son, christian st. john (jordan); two sisters, tracy sanders and jackie dawson (mitchell); three grandchildren, harper, charlotte, and jacob; his beloved granddog, cap; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
cremation was chosen.
a celebration of life will be held 1:30 p.m. on saturday, aug. 12, 2023, at his favorite place, stooges bar and grill, 7123 grade lane, louisville, ky 40213.
mcfarland-troutman-proffitt funeral home, mount washington, was entrusted with the arrangements.
