Norma Thurman Obituary
PEORIA - Norma Joan Thurman, 76, of Peoria and Palm Coast, Fla., died at 8:55 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born April 14, 1930, in Peoria to Theodore and Jolene Claussen Guth. She married Charles Andrew Thurman on Oct. 14, 1950. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Barbara (David) Masters of Peoria; one son, Charles Thurman II of Palm Coast, Fla.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Norma was preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah LaRocque, and two brothers.
Norma was a graduate of Woodruff High School in 1948. She was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Peoria for many years.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Peoria. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
Memorials may be made to Easter Seals, St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.
