Roggie leaves cherished memories to: husband of 64 years Tommie Lee; daughters Annette Walker, Beverly Willis and Crystal Flowers; sisters Ruth Smith and Nadean Williams- Hogue; brother Semmie (Bobbie) Scott; 4 grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Visitation Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. with Homegoing Celebration. to follow at 11:00 a.m. All services at Christ Baptist Church 4700 E. 7th Ave., Gary. Pastor Lawrence E. Robertson officiating. Interment Fern Oaks Cemetery.

"What of this radiance which was once so bright, be now forever taken from our sight. Though nothing can bring back the hour of splendor in the grass, of glory and the flower; We should grieve not, yet find strength in what remains behind.
What she leaves behind is a devoted husband, three extraordinary daughters, grandchildren, family, and friends that adore her and will hold her in their hearts for a lifetime, as I certainly will.
I will miss your lemon meringue pies. Doll's are good, but not quite as good as yours! I love you still and I always will. Rest In Peace and say hello to my parents!
