Betty Jane Jansen, age 86, of Kimberly, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016 at St. Paul Elder Services. She was born to the late Emil and Gertrude (Schuman) Eake on August 23, 1929. Betty attended Neenah High School. She married Roland Jansen on July 2, 1949. The family resided in Combined Locks. She was employed at Zwicker Knitting Mill until she started a family. Betty was a volunteer at St. Paul Elder Services from 1998 until her passing. She helped at the VFW for many years.

She is survived by her children: Dan (Dawn) Jansen, Sherry (Tom) Germiat, Debra Thorne and special friend Dave Leaf; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother-in-law Martin Vanden Hogen; sisters-in-law: Clair Jansen and Alice Jansen. She is preceded in death by her husband Roland; brothers-in-law Stanley, Melvin, David, Lloyd and Eugene Jansen; sisters-in-law: Bulah Vanden Hogen Mavis Jansen, Arlene and Brenda Eake; brother Darrel and Delhart Eake.

Funeral services for Betty will be at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at ST. PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 E. Wallace Street, Combined Locks with Father Andrew Kysely and Msgr. James Vanden Hogen concelebrating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
