Frank Hynek Obituary

Frank George Hynek, 104, of Ammon, died March 7, 2018, at his home.

Frank was born September 21, 1913, in Racine, WI to Simon and Mary Kohkl

Hynek. Frank grew up and attended school in the Nampa, and Emmett Idaho

areas.

In 1935, he married Myrtle Bell Rogers in Emmett Idaho. They raised 3 children:

Sharon, Shirley, and Robert. She died in February 2003.

and the Holt Arena in Pocatello; the South Blackfoot Exit (exit 89 from I-15); the

Idaho State Prison, and the Public Works Building in Boise; and the old Rigby High

School in 1955.

Frank loved fishing. He loved any that he could get a hook on. In the winter he

would tie flies. He belonged to the Good Sam Club while living in Emmett and

Nampa.

He is survived by two daughters: Sharon Wulfekuhle (Edward, deceased) of Idaho

Falls, and Shirley Spraker (Richard, deceased) of Pocatello; and son, Robert Hynek

(Joyce) of Pocatello; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-
